Laptop-wise, I would honestly go for a Mac (if I had the money to buy a new laptop of any kind). Desktop-wise, though, I do think that you can put together a comparable PC for less if you shop around and put it together yourself which is, to be fair, not an option for everyone.
I would agree with that if you are putting it together yourself, like you said, since Apple has no options to get parts. But, prebuilt systems by Dell, HP, and all the others end up being the same price even in the desktops.
But, you are right, there is nothing in Apple that compares to building yourself.
Lolz.
ReplyDeleteAre they trying to say that PC users are republicans and MAC users are liberals?
That's the message I got.
Uh, I guess if you would like to put a political spin on commercial propaganda.
ReplyDeletemust. buy. mac.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would love to.
ReplyDeleteIf only they weren't 50% more expensive for the same power.

ReplyDeleteI want a Macbook Pro, but I heard a rumor that they are coming out with a better one in the next couple months. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT?!

Yeah that's really the only downside. I'm impressed that they compare so favorably to pre-builts, though! Pretty cool, I must admit.
